This is part of a larger series called #FinishYear.

SundaySummary

I’m proud to report that I officially crossed off another one of my goals this week. I’ve also decided to drop one of my goals from my list. Last week Jon Acuff (the guy who started all this Finish Year stuff) blogged about adjusting our goal list for the last 92 days of the year. For me, that means dropping one of my goals that isn’t realistic for me to meet in less than 90 days.

I’m dropping goal #2: Get below 20% body fat. I’ll be putting it back on my list for 2013 along with a couple other specific goals that should make achieving that goal possible.

Complete 500 miles running and walking.

I’m at 314 miles logged while running and 20 miles for walking. That brings things up to a grand total of 334 miles. However, I adjusted this goal last month to focus more on reaching the 500 mile mark totally through running which looks like it’s going to be possible.

Get below 20% body fat.

postponed until next year.

Complete two more 5ks, my first 10k, and my first half marathon (13.1 miles/21.1k).

I completed the 10k earlier this year. I’ve signed up for my first half marathon on November 17. I’ll be taking care of one of the 5ks on Thanksgiving, so I just need to find another 5k to have fun with.

Read 15 books.

I finished reading “Veneer” last week. I’ve started two other books this week–books 12 and 13. I’ll finish both this month, leaving me with two months to read two more books.

DONE: Write out all 31 Proverbs.

Finished this one up today.

Tithe regularly.

Still good. Safe to say this has moved beyond a task, into a habit, and now into part of my lifestyle.

DONE: Become debt free.

All done. Ask me about it and I’ll tell you all you want to know about how I did this.
